Back 2 Cool #2: Three Adorable First Day Outfits

Hi Guys!
Here is another segment in my "Back 2 Cool" series. Hope you enjoy!!! Deciding what to wear for the first day of school is always a hassle for me and I end up putting something together last minute. AOn the first day of school you will probably see "certain people" that you haven't seen all summer and it is nice to look presentable. I will be showing you three outfits to help you look your best on the first day of school or any other day :)

OUTFITS:

I would describe my style as sort of a mix between casual and bohemian. I love the laid back earthy look and I think that it is so comfortable!!!!

Outfit 1:

Untitled #43

I absolutely adore the crochet detailing on this tunic. It compliments the shape of it really nicely and adds a nice finishing detail. I think that boyfriend jeans are very much in style this season and they  are so comfortable!!! Feather earrings are very bohemian and add a nice touch to this outfit. I finished off the look with a simple pair of black sandals.

Outfit 2:
Untitled #44

My favorite piece in this outfit is definitely the necklace. I think that the green adds a nice pop of color to the outfit and would make any eye color look brilliant. Ombre is also very in style right now and I'm certain that you will see a ton of it when you go back to school. High low dresses are also very popular and this one is very chic but still laid back and comfortable. I finished off this outfit with a simple gold bangle bracelet and off white bow flats.

Outfit 3:

My style 001I have been hearing rumors that baseball tees are going to make a comeback this fall. I personally love coral and I think that this one is super cute! If it is a little chilly, you can layer a simple cardigan over the top. I think that shorts are nice to wear when it is super hot out but remember to stick to your school's dress code so I would recommend wearing longer shorts to registration/ picture day. I finished off this outfit wit a simple pair of white high tops which gives the outfit more of a sporty look.

I hope you enjoyed this post! More back to cool coming soon!!!

Back 2 Cool #1: Four Chic Back to school Hairstyles!!!

Hi Guys!
This is the very first back to school post that I have EVER done and I am super excited to show it to you! I am calling my back to school series "Back 2 Cool" because I think that it sounds more fun than just back to school.

I surfed pinterest and found some super chic and cute hairstyles that are perfect to wear on the first day of school, on picture day, or just on any school day. Hope you enjoy!!!

#1 Cute Vintage-Modern Updo
I absolutely love vintage hairstyles, especially with a modern twist. This hairstyle is perfect to wear to work, or school, or wherever you may be going that day.

Super chic and you can make it with a little bit of practice. Add a bit of sparkle for a evening out.

#2 Braid in a braid
I absolutely love this hairstyle because it is simple, but still super adorable and easy to do. To create this hairstyle, take a piece of hair about an inch thick from the back of your hair and braid it. Secure with an elastic. Bring all of your hair to one side of your head and separate it into three sections. Braid all the way to the end, removing the elastic securing the small braid when you get to it. Braid all the way to the end and secure with an elastic!

#3 Half up Half Down Bow

#3 The Twisty Braid Ponytail
The Twisty Braid Hair Tutorial - with video! I think I could find a cuter way of ending it

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!!! More Back 2 Cool posts coming soon!!!

Summer Must Haves!!!

Hi Guys!!!!

Summer has finally reached it's peak and where I live it is HOT! There are some specific things that I use in the summer to bear the heat. Hope you enjoy it and be sure to leave me a comment down below telling me some of your "Summer Must Haves.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the summer I think that it is so important to take pictures; anywhere, and everywhere. You won't be young forever so be sure to live in the moment, and also record the moment. This is the camera I have and yes, it's pink!!! I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it! It takes really good quality pictures and I would highly recommend it

I have tried several different foundations and I always seem to come back to this one. The Covergirl Aquasmooth foundation is a fantastic product and unlike most foundations that you find at the drugstore, it is a cream instead of liquid. This product gives fantastic coverage and it feels like you are wearing absolutely nothing. It has such amazing coverage that I do not need to apply a concealer on top of it. Love it and would highly recommend it to any skin type.

All that I literally wear in the summer is T-Shirts and shorts. They are just so comfortable and super cheap no matter where you shop. I love to pair big baggy tee shirts with skinny jeans in the summer and my fantastic Converse rip offs from
Wal-Mart. (they were only $10!!!)

Sea salt spray for your hair!!

I love how my hair looks after I've hit the beach. The salt water seems to bring out the natural wave in my hair. I went to the hair salon the other day and I was interested in seeing what kind of "Salt Spray" they carried. I didn't get any when I saw the price so I went home and looked on pinterest and found this. ^^^

My Summer playlist
  • Walking on sunshine- Aly and AJ
  • happy together- The Turtles
  • Crazy for You- Adele
  • Secrets- One Republic
  • We are Never ever ever Getting Back Together- Taylor Swift
  • 22- Taylor Swift
  • everywhere- Michelle Branch

Hope you liked this post!!!

Audrey's Daily Drama #13: Thursday 7/11/2013

Hi Guys!
I just finished packing for youth conference and I fit everything into ONE backpack!!! I am so proud of myself! I feel like I haven't written to you guys in forever even if it has just been two weeks. I need some post ideas so shoot me an email if you have any good ideas at audreyryanblog@gmail.com. Also, I am in the process of setting up my Etsy shop so when that is up, I will post a link here so you can go check it out!!

I went running with my Cross Country team this morning and my running buddy and I got kind of lost so we went like six miles instead of the four that we were supposed to do. Three words to describe me right now: ouch, tired, bored. That pretty much sums up my entire summer.

Two days ago I went to see Despicable Me 2 at my local movie theater with my friend Emilee. It was so good so you will probably be seeing a review on that soon. Well, I have to catch my plane to my photo shoot in Paris. Ta ta darlings!!!! (I wish!!!!!! TTYL and going off to my bed to sleep)

Nail Polish Review: Sinful Colors Professional in Mint Apple and Frenzy

sinful colors -mint apple

Hi Guys!
So recently my friends dragged me to get my nails done professionally because I had never done it before. (Gasp!) So we went to the local beauty school where they do it for super cheap but they had no spots open for like an entire week! Plan #2. We went to our local Walgreens and picked up supplies to do it ourselves.

I got two polishes: Sinful Colors Professional in Mint Apple (top) and Frenzy. (bottom) I chose the this brand because it was only two dollars a bottle which is an AMAZING price for nail polish these days! So far, I have been absolutely loving both of these. Frenzy is hard to get off of your nails but I think that is just because it is glitter and glitter I swear, will someday be the end of me.

Sinful Colors - Frenzy

Both of these products have an excellent consistency and they glide onto the nail smoothly. They dry very opaque which I love because I HATE layering on like twenty layers of nail polish to get it to look good.

Overall, these are two excellent polishes and I would recommend these to anybody on a tight budget. Hope you enjoyed the review and like always, found it helpful!
