Eve's 11 Questions

1. How did you come up with your blog name?

I liked the name SimplyAudrey because it was, as the name implies, "simple". But that domain was already taken so I chose SimplyAudrey89, the 8 and the 9 standing for the eighth and the ninth letters in the alphabet. (I dare you to figure it out and comment down below :)

2. As a reader, do you prefer poetry or short stories?

I am a SERIOUS poetry addict. I think that it is absolutely beautiful when a poet speaks from their heart and pours their whole soul onto the page. As a writer myself, I also enjoy writing poetry as well as reading it. 

3. Favorite book author? 

I read so many books from so many different authors that it is hard for me to pick just one that is my favorite. 

4. Cold weather or hot weather?
There are definitely ups and downs for both. Where I live, it is freezing cold all the time so I love the occasional day that is sunny and warm.

5. If you were going to learn to play an instrument, which would it be?
I already play the piano and guitar so if I were to learn another, I would like to learn the drums.

6. What is one word you just can't help but laugh at whenever you hear it?
Chindin (It's a street name by where my cousins live)

7. Do you prefer to think ahead or just "go with the flow"?
I prefer to go with the flow. Opportunities tend to arise when we least expect them.

8. What song is stuck in your head right now?
Firework by Katy Perry

9. Do you try to maintain a posting schedule on your blog?
                ^^^(key word) Yes, I do try to post at least on Tuesdays and Fridays but this summer has been so busy that it's been hard.

10. If you were going to change your name, what would you change it to?
Brielle

11. How do you overcome writer's block when it hits?

I shut my blinds, turn off the lights, and listen to rain sounds.
